One of my favorite artists is Anne Packard. She mostly paints sand and sea with the occasional solitary boat, building or person. Her color palette and the way she captures light very much appeals to me. I love her work but I also admire the way she has inspired her family to carry on a tradition of art that spans three generations. I was pleasantly surprised when Coastal Living recently did a short video interview with her. She truly is an American icon. Enjoy!
